Dispensers Optical's principal manufacturing facility is located
in suburban Louisville, Kentucky. Occupying approximately 30,000
square feet, the plant is equipped with the latest LOH optical
manufacturing equipment and employs a sophisticated array of
"state of the art" production techniques, including computer-
generated lens design, digital prescription power analysis, and
automated inventory levels management.

Dispensers employs approximately 100 people, many of whom
have devoted their entire careers to the optical profession. Top management
possesses over 150 years cumulative experience within the industry.
Dispensers is one of the few laboratories in the nation to be fully certified
by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as well as by the U.S. Department
of Defense. Naturally, all products produced by Dispensers comply with
or exceed all applicable ANSI and OSHA standards.
Dispensers Optical has been a leader in the fabrication of industrial
safety eyewear for many years. Strict adherence to ANSI and OSHA
standards have made the Dispensers name synonymous with quality
and precision. Pioneering leadership in eye protection for the
workplace such as polycarbonate technology, has earned Dispensers
a reputation as an industry pacesetter. And because Louisville, our
principal manufacturing site, is also the national air hub for the
United States Parcel Service, Dispensers Optical is able to provide
its customers uncommonly fast delivery.
Dispensers employs sales representatives nationwide, who
specialize in servicing the needs of the American safety industry. This
marketing group, along with Dispensers' in-house support staff, is not only
well versed in the specific protective eyewear requirements of the industry,
but also in the various ways to successfully administer a prescription
eyewear program. This national sales force allows Dispensers the flexibility
to provide sales support to companies who have facilities spread across large
geographical areas.
Dispensers Optical's accounting, order entry, inventory and manufacturing systems
are extensively automated to accommodate our customers unique invoicing and
activity reporting requirements.

professionals -- not just "order takers" -- who can provide technical assistance
