Uncut Ophthalmic Lenses

Dispensers Optical is the nation's largest provider of uncut ophthalmic (prescription) lenses to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Serving all branches of the Armed Forces for over twenty years, Dispensers Optical has developed an extensive and sophisticated lens inventory management system that assures prompt order fulfillment even in times of rapid troop mobilization or other national emergency.      Armed Forces medical treatment facilities (MTFs) desiring to order ophthalmic lenses through contracts established between the DoD and Dispensers Optical are encouraged to contact the Director, Medical Devices Group, Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia for further assistance. Once authorized and registered, all subsequent requisitions, orders, invoices and

payments are processed electronically at significant savings vis-à-vis AAC "L" (Local Purchase) or DVD (Direct Vendor Delivery) pricing.

     For high criticality items (priority 5 and higher) and/or optical items not awarded under existing Indefinite Quantity contracts, the Armed Forces Medical Treatment Facility may wish to procure their requirements through Dispensers Optical's Decentralized Blanket Purchase Agreement (DBPA) SP0200-97-A-9056. Orders may be placed using the standard TAMMIS form RZE-S74, by fax, or placed online; please see our Ordering Information. Purchases may be processed through open account, electronic funds transfer or IMPAC card.
